• Ordering, cart and checkout functionality is available only to approved Electrotek customer accounts. Business details and account applications are assessed by Electrotek and may be declined or withdrawn at Electrotek's discretion.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@electrotek.co.za if you suspect unauthorised use.
• You warrant that the person transacting on the account is authorised to bind the account-holding business.

• Prices shown while signed in reflect your account's contracted price list and volume brackets. Prices shown while signed out are indicative only.
• All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude any separately agreed delivery charges; VAT is shown where applicable.
• Quotations and quote drafts built on this site are indicative only and are not binding until confirmed by Electrotek in writing. A confirmed quotation is valid for the period stated on it, subject to stock availability and the provisions below.
• Items that are not in stock when quoted are subject to price confirmation when they become available or are procured. In particular, cable and other products affected by metal commodity prices, supplier increases or exchange-rate movements may be repriced before Electrotek accepts the order.
• All website prices and quotations are subject to errors and omissions excepted (“E&OE”). We take care to keep pricing accurate, but if a price or other material detail shown on the website or in an official quotation is incorrect, Electrotek may correct it and is not obliged to supply on the incorrect terms. We will notify you and give you the option to proceed on the corrected terms or cancel the affected item. Any amount already paid for a cancelled item will be refunded in full.

• An order placed through the site is an offer to purchase. A contract of sale is concluded only when Electrotek confirms the order in its system.
• All items quoted or shown as in stock are offered subject to prior sale. Stock levels shown are synced from our warehouse in near real time but are not guaranteed. If an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you to amend, back-order or cancel the affected lines and refund any amount paid for them.
• Electrotek may decline or cancel an order where required by law, where fraud is suspected, where your account is outside its credit terms, or where stock or pricing errors make supply impracticable.

• Online card and EFT payments are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment provider. Electrotek does not store your card details; payment data is handled by Paystack under its own terms and security standards.
• Approved credit account holders may place orders on account, subject to their agreed credit limit and payment terms. Amounts outstanding beyond the agreed terms may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law, and Electrotek may suspend supply until the account is settled.
• Ownership of goods passes to you only once payment has been received in full.

• Orders placed through this website are available for collection from Electrotek at Mossel Bay Multicenter, 6 Bolton Road, Mossel Bay. Delivery is not currently available through the website.
• We will notify you when your order is ready. Collection times are estimates and depend on stock availability and order processing.
• Risk in the goods passes to you on collection. Please inspect goods on collection and report visible damage, shortages or incorrect items within 48 hours.

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: defective goods are covered by the statutory warranty and applicable manufacturer warranties; non-defective goods may be returned within the window and conditions set out in that policy.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Electrotek's total liability arising from any order is limited to the price paid for the goods giving rise to the claim, and Electrotek is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, contracts or business interruption.
• Product specifications, datasheets and images in the catalogue are provided by manufacturers and are for guidance. You are responsible for confirming that goods are fit for your intended installation and for compliance with SANS wiring codes and other applicable standards.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the CPA where it applies.

• The catalogue content, product data, wordmark and site design are the property of Electrotek or its licensors. You may not scrape, bulk-download or republish catalogue or pricing data without written permission.
• You may not use the site in a way that interferes with its operation, attempts to gain unauthorised access, or misrepresents your identity or account authority.
• The site is provided “as is”. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
• Electrotek may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
• If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
